Black widowShe sleeps alone just spinning her webs, All is intact but she still feels she’s broken She cries herself a long and lonely river, She drowns me with her bitter words spoken.
When tempers flare she pleads innocence, Still tying the net ready to catch all who fall, Unsuspecting vacancy eludes her sweet mind, Too dumb to care to proud to try and call.
One more tear leaks from her hollow eyes, So cold and withered she hangs on to my heart, She lays there staring a hole right through me, Knowing I was with her right from the start.

Ode to youThough you’re so far away you still hold me so close, I feel the warmth of your breath like the breeze on the coast. I see the glint of your eyes and they fill me with hope, That still comforts my heart when I feel I can’t cope.

Gotta learn sometimeLike a weeping willow you weeped on me, A soft slender figure from my own misery. Just a memory lost in this world that I dream, Another wire crossed and apart goes the team.
Like a distant thought you just walked away, Forgetting the love we both felt yesterday. A sharp salty team just leaks down my cheek, Seeing you betray me just makes me go weak.
That soft slender figure is now hard and decayed, Her sole lively purpose is to rain on my parade. I gave my heart to that girl and all I got was her lies, She faked beauty and substance and hid reality inside. Gotta learn sometime

My self-portraitThe rigour that he lives with frightens me, So much angst so much hatred all inside of one lonely man, A portrait of a fictitious character stares him in back in the mirror, Why cant he see all of that good that we see?
Waiting for the day to come when his eyes reopen, When the nightmare is over and the he awakes from the coma, When the clouds are gone and I see that smile, When the painting is complete and the piece has its colour.

Its all fun and games

Hi people. Been struggling with life at the moment. One sharp turn with a crash at the end followedby another. People seem out to hurt me likepacksof wolves smelling my temporary weakness and capitalising. I've been trying to find inspiration in lyrics at the moment. The song below is by Aimme mann and is agreat song called "wise up". Her lyrics seem to speak volumes to me at the moment. Thanks
